Dr. Mary Owen earned her dental degree and the University of Minnesota School of Dentistry and then completed a one year residency in Advanced Education in General Dentistry. After five years of private practice, she returned to the U of M to complete an advanced degree in dentistry (Master’s Degree), focusing on dental care for the older adult (geriatrics).
Dr. Owen is currently a full-time faculty member at the University School of Dentistry as a clinical specialist. Her time is divided between serving patients at Glen Lake Dental and instructing students at the University Comprehensive Care Dental Clinic. Additionally, Dr. Owen provides instruction at continuing education courses which are for licensed dentists and staff.
